A hero for bookworms like me

This week’s visual prompt was inspired by one of my Halloween costumes. As a teacher-librarian, it’s fun to dress up for school, because the kids appreciate it. I’ve been a lady-bug (with ladybug wings and antenna, plus a black lace suit, and pearls), Anne of Green Gables, The Paper Bag Princess (from the Robert Munsch picture book), and Robin Hood.

The world needs more different kinds of superheroes to reflect what individuals think is super. So that’s your prompt. Think of something you feel strongly about and imagine the super defender to stand up for it.
